Actress Elizabeth Olsen Did Not Meet The Actor With Whom Her Character Interacted In Doctor Strange 2

Actress Elizabeth Olsen underwent a lie detector test in an interview with Vanity Fair magazine. During this time, she said, that she did not know the actor John Krasinski. According to the detector, she did not lie. However, the presenter was surprised by the fact, because as she noted, Olsen and Krasinski appeared together in several scenes in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

So Olsen never met the actor on set. This means that when they talk, they are actually talking to someone else, or delivering their lines into an empty space. In a scene where they fight each other as Scarlet Witch and Mr. Fantastic, it is not the actors themselves, but their digital forms, created through visual computer tricks.

This is how Hollywood blockbusters are currently being created. The actors do not interact with each other, but with the green screen or someone completely different who gives replicas of the character. In some cases, the actors just talk, imagining that they are looking at someone and talking to them.

In the past, this was especially true in scenes where human characters talked to dragons or other non-human beings. However, as you can see, not even actors appear in their joint scenes. This is due to their busy schedule, when they cannot arrive on the same day. Their scenes then come together in post-production, as was the case with Spider-Man: No Way Home.
