These Are the World's Richest Celebrities: Forbes Drops the 2026 List

CELEBRITY

Forbes magazine has released its list of billionaire celebrities. However, Forbes only includes those who first became famous and then got rich. That’s why the list doesn’t feature entrepreneurs primarily known for their business ventures.

Forbes just dropped a new list of the world's richest celebs. This year, 22 big names from sports, music, and film have turned their fame into billion-dollar fortunes.

Their combined wealth is over $48 billion. Compared to last year, that's a huge jump. In 2025, the list featured 18 billionaires with a total of around $39 billion, according to Forbes.

This year's list also includes four newbies. Tennis legend Roger Federer, music producer Dr. Dre, film director James Cameron, and singer Beyoncé made it into the billionaire club for the first time. They join other familiar faces who have been on the list for a while.

Among the richest are directors Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, American host and philanthropist Oprah Winfrey, and rapper/producer Jay-Z.
