Josh Radnor has welcomed his first child into the world!
Viewers fondly remember him as Ted Mosby from the popular sitcom How I Met Your Mother, where he narrated to his kids, twenty-five years in the future, how he met their mother. In the show, he was very eager to find "the one" with whom he could start a family, and it was characteristic of him to have everything planned to a T.
Josh Radnor, who played Ted, found his "one" too. He married Jordana Jacobs, a therapist, in 2024, and they just welcomed their first child, a baby boy. The actor shared the joyful news on his Instagram.
“So, a few months ago (!!), my wife and I had a baby. Here's what we know so far: His smile lights up the whole room. He's super observant and considerate. When I play him songs on the guitar, he's captivated. The word ‘baba ghanoush’ cracks him up. He’s pure joy, and Jordana and I are over the moon to have him here,” he wrote tenderly.
He also expressed gratitude to the listeners of his podcast How We Made Your Mother, where he had shared the news a few episodes earlier. “Sending love to all parents of newborns. It’s been a wild, beautiful, exhausting, and heartwarming introduction. I’m so grateful,” he added alongside baby photos.
We don’t know the exact birth date or the baby’s name. Radnor and his wife keep their private life under wraps.
