Hollywood actor Johnny Depp surprised fans. In the midst of a worldwide trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard, he unexpectedly appeared on stage in Sheffield, England, on Sunday evening, informs the BBC.
He appeared during a concert at Sheffield City Hall just two days after presenting final evidence in the closely-watched six-week trial, which took place in the US state of Virginia. On Friday, jury began deliberating on the final verdict of this multi-million dollar defamation claim.
Just 48 hours later, the 58-year-old Depp showed up at Sheffield City Hall, where he sang and played guitar with Jeff Beck on his European tour. Depp and Beck played John Lennon's Isolation.
In addition to acting, Johnny Depp is also known as the guitarist of the "supergroup" Hollywood Vampires, which he founded in 2012 with singer Alice Cooper and guitarist Joe Perry (one of the founding members of the famous hard rock band Aerosmith).
The band's name comes from a former nightclub that Cooper founded in the 1970s and was closely connected with John Lennon, Ringo Starr of The Beatles, Keith Moon of The Who or Harry Nilsson.
According to the BBC, Jeff Beck is considered a British guitar legend. He became famous in the 60's with the band The Yardbirds, he collaborated with David Bowie, Mick Jagger or Stevie Wonder. He received six Grammy Awards.
