The film portal Collider informs that Marvel studios will start filming the 2nd series of Loki in London on June 6, 2022. It will be directed by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, who shot two parts of the series Moon Knight. They will replace Kate Herron, who shot the first season of Loki, but did not want to go ahead with the second. The screenwriting post also underwent a change.

Michael Waldron (Loki, Doctor Strange 2) was replaced by Eric Martin, who had already worked on the screenplay for Loki's first season. Waldron is currently working on a screenplay for a Star Wars film produced by Marvel's head Kevin Feige. The premiere of Loki's 2nd season at Disney + could happen during the summer of 2023.

In the 2nd season we will see both Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Lady Loki (Sophia Di Martino). Agent Mobius (Owen Wilson) and Ravonn Renslayer (Gugu Mbatha-Raw).

In an interview with The Guardian, Tom Hiddleston said Loki's bisexuality was important to him, and that there was definitely room to develop it. Loki is bisexual in comics as well as in the Norwegian mythology, so Marvel still has work to do to expand the character's character in terms of his sexuality.
