“The Greatest Gift is Helping Others.” Big Bang Theory Star Anonymously Supports Families in Need

Kunal Nayyar, known for his role as Rajesh Koothrappali in the sitcom The Big Bang Theory, recently revealed that he regularly uses the GoFundMe platform to financially help families in need.

“Money has given me more freedom, and the greatest gift is being able to help others and change people’s lives,” said the actor. “We also support animal protection charities because we love dogs. But what I really love is going on GoFundMe at night to pay random families’ medical bills. That’s my masked vigilante act!”

Last month, Fortune magazine estimated the actor’s wealth at $45 million, placing him among the highest-paid actors of all time. “People aren’t happy these days because we all expect someone else to be kind. We expect the president or a politician, some leader, to come and bring us world peace,” Nayyar added for The i Paper. “But there is no world peace if your neighbor comes to your door asking for sugar for their tea, and you lock the door and say, ‘Go away.’”
