A24's film promises an emotional and psychologically intense ride about love, doubts, and decisions at the most fragile moment.
We've already written about the movie The Drama, starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson in the lead roles. Now, Studio A24 has released a trailer, hinting at a major twist in the seemingly flawless relationship just before the wedding, caused by the main character's secret.
According to Variety, Zendaya plays Emma, who works in a bookstore, while Pattinson, as Charlie, is the director of the British Museum. The story follows how their relationship starts to unravel right when they should be dealing with the final wedding details. Instead of romance, there's tension, doubt, and the question of whether their love can handle the pressure at such a sensitive moment.
The director of the film is Kristoffer Borgli. For A24, this marks his return after the success of the 2023 film “I Must Be Dreaming”, which earned Nicolas Cage a Golden Globe nomination. The Drama is also his fourth directorial venture.
The Slovak premiere is scheduled for April 3, 2026. It's also interesting that both Zendaya and Robert Pattinson will be seen in several big projects this year—they'll appear in Christopher Nolan's Odyssea and also in the next installment of the Dune series.
