We Spent The Night In The 5-Star Hard Rock Hotel. It Is Filled To The Brim With Pieces From Stars Such As Eminem Or Lady Gaga
The Budapest Hard Rock Hotel enchanted us with its interactivity, imagination, but also elegant minimalism.

There are several luxury hotels in every capital. However, the five-star Hard Rock Hotel in Budapest, which opened its doors only this year, is unique for several reasons. Valuable musical memorabilia catches your eye as soon as you enter.
In one display case you will find, for example, glittering designer dresses once worn by Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj or Katy Perry. In the entrance hall, a large sign lights up "Cause baby, you're a firework", since Katy Perry filmed the video to this hit in Budapest.
In the center of the lobby, you will find the king of pop Michael Jackson's hat, Alicia Keys' stage costume, Elton John's Rocketman shoes, as well as a beautiful, bright guitar or the legendary Prince's purple fur coat. However, that is far from all. You only need to walk a few steps further and you will see the Nike cap of the rapper Eminem, the dresses of Ariana Grande or Beyoncé or the stylish cowboy boots of the guitarist of the Black Sabbath band Tony Iommi.
You can find other rare souvenirs on every floor of the hotel (on the sixth floor, where we were accommodated, there was a corset worn by John Lennon during his time at art school in Liverpool).
More than 86,000 musical monuments around the world
Hard Rock Hotel Budapest is operated by Hard Rock International, a leading collector of music and entertainment memorabilia for over 45 years. There are already over 86,000 of them around the world. It is the largest collection of music memorabilia in the world.
The company has almost two hundred cafes, dozens of hotels and four casinos in more than 74 countries under its thumb. The Budapest hotel is the first Hard Rock Hotel in Central in, for example, Amsterdam, Madrid, Dublin or London.
It is there that the roots of the famous brand go. In 1971, Peter Morton and Isaac Tigrett founded the first Hard Rock Cafe in London. The exhibition of musical memorabilia was started by the British musician and one of the best guitarists in the world, Eric Clapton, when he donated his guitar to a London cafe as an exhibition piece. It didn't take long for this trend to find its roots in other countries as well.
Can't you play the guitar? You can learn it at the hotel
The Hungarian Hard Rock Hotel is not only a place where you can sleep comfortably. It is also a cafe, cocktail bar or shop where passionate collectors of musical memorabilia from all over the world come to grab unique items from limited editions.
The hotel has seven floors, while the roof spaces named Roxy are suitable for various business meetings, parties or even weddings. At the same time, the most luxurious rooms are on the top floor. Guests at the Rock Star Suite can relax on their private terrace with hot tub. The cheapest room in the hotel costs about 170 euros per night, the most expensive over 1,800 euros. They are divided into seven categories.
Each guest can borrow a Fender guitar in their room and learn to play it according to the video lessons they can find on the big screen in the room. You can study right from his bed. Lessons are for beginners and advanced.
There are quality movies on offer, and if you want to warm up your muscles in the morning, you can do some yoga or, the hotel has a large gym. Other positives certainly include the omnipresent great rock music. Our taste buds were once again delighted by top chefs in the hotel's Sessions restaurant.
Interactivity, imagination and elegant minimalism
After arriving in the wonderful spacious room, we were left speechless. In addition to the huge bed, the room also had a large table, a coffee machine and a minibar with drinks and sweets. Despite the fact that we received a card from our guide as part of the press tour, thanks to which we had free public transport and also included discounts to museums and thermal baths, the stay in the hotel itself was an unforgettable experience.
Hard Rock Hotel Budapest clearly stands out and surpasses the competition with its interactivity, imagination, but also elegant minimalism. It is not a first-class kitsch, quite the contrary, every corner of the hotel looked tasteful and clean.
Entire families discovering the sights of the city (just a five-minute walk from the hotel is the beautiful, majestic Hungarian State Opera House), couples in love or groups of friends who want to experience the wild nightlife will undoubtedly enjoy themselves.
And if you happen to want to come to the hotel with your pets, you don't have to worry. You can safely take dogs with you to the room. The friendly staff will prepare bowls and various toys for them, ensuring that they won't get bored.
In addition to this, the hotel staff's name tags in the shape of a guitar pick also made us smile. They didn't have their names on them, but favourite bands or performers. We will surely be return here someday.
