The club Bayern Munich is currently not interested in Cristiano Ronaldo as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski who was bought from a German club for 50 million dollars by FC Barcelona. According to the CEO Oliver Kahn, the Portuguese player would not fit the team conception.

„I adore Critiano Ronaldo as a player and everyone knows he is a fantastic football player, However, the club has a certain philosophy and I am not sure whether it would be right for Bayern and the Bundesleague if we signed him," said Kahn for Bild am Sonntag.

The 37-year old forward said at the beginning of July that if a lucrative opportunity to leave Manchester United came up, he would like to do it. Apparently, he is unhappy with the situation of the club. He would like to face the biggest European challenges.

Speculations about a new player entering the current champion club apparently relate to multiple players. Kahn's reaction to Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur was as follows: "Sue, he is a top notch striker. In his case, it is a possibility for the future, he has a valid contract with Tottenham. We now have to take care of the team formation for the season. We will see what happens."

Kahn has confirmed that they have their eyes set on two new faces: the Dutch defender Matthijs de Ligt from Juventus Turin and the Austrian halfback Konrad Laimer fom RB Lipsko. They are both being considered by the Munich club.
