The creators of the new series Obi-Wan Kenobi have noticed racist comments of the 29-year old actress Moses Ingram on social media. She played Reva, one of the main villains. The whole general staff stand behind the actress and emphasize that there is no room for racism in the world of Star Wars consisting of 20 million people.

Of course the audiences have a right to criticize Moses Ingram's acting skills or the acts of her character in the series. However, offending the actress for her skin color should not be tolerated in a civilized society. The Star Wars World has introduced multiple characters with a dark skin color, such as Mace Windu, Land Calrissian or Finn.

„We are proud to welcome Moses Ingram to the Star Wars family and excited for Reva’s story to unfold. If anyone intends to make her feel in any way unwelcome, we have only one thing to say: we resist,“ wrote the Star Wars account administrators on Instagram. The post received almost 150 000 likes by fans within 3 hours.
