If you're a racist, you're not a real Star Wars Fan, Says McGregor. Actor Defended Moses Ingram, The Villain Of Obi-Wan Series.

MOVIES & SERIES

Star Wars stands up to racism.

Actress Moses Ingram, who currently plays the villain in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney +, is experiencing a very difficult time. Viewers of the series are sending her hateful and racist messages on social media. It didn't take long for the Star Wars official Twitter account to speak up and defend the actresses. The creators of Star Wars refuse to accept any racist speech.

The actress was also supported by actor Ewan McGregor, the main star of the series.

Disney, which owns Lucasfilm and produces Star Wars movies and series, warned the actress that something similar would happen. Actors John Boyega and Kelly Marie Tran went through the same thing, experiencing a wave of racist messages right after they starred in Star Wars movies. Disney and Lucasfilm didn't stand up to the actors at the time, but in this case they seem to want to do better and stand up to racist.
