Taylor Swift Dominates iHeartRadio Music Awards with Record Wins

CELEBRITY

Taylor Swift turned most of her nominations into victories—winning seven out of nine. On stage, she also thanked her fiancé.

If anyone dominated this year's iHeartRadio Music Awards 2026, it was definitely Taylor Swift. The singer took home the most awards of the night. She snagged the award for Pop Album of the Year and Overall Album of the Year for "The Life of a Showgirl." Her song The Fate of Ophelia also became one of the biggest hits of her career, according to Variety.

Her fiancé Travis Kelce was by her side at the event, and she mentioned him in her speech. “I think this album feels very happy, confident, and free because that’s how I feel every day of my life thanks to my fiancé, who’s here tonight.”

The singer also reached out to her fans and openly talked about the pressure of today's world where every move is immediately judged. Taylor emphasized how important it is to pursue personal interests, develop talents, and not be afraid to make mistakes. “Thank you for allowing me to turn my hobby into love, into passion, into a dream, into a career. Thank you for allowing me to have it for so long.”

Besides Taylor Swift, other famous names succeeded as well. She took home the title of Artist of the Year, while Alex Warren shined in the Newcomer categories, winning Breakout Artist of the Year and Best New Pop Artist. Sabrina Carpenter snagged Pop Artist of the Year, and special awards included names like Miley Cyrus and Ludacris.
