A new eight-episode horror miniseries about a young engaged couple just before their wedding is soon to be released on Netflix.
The new series Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen is spearheaded by showrunner Haley Z. Boston, with contributions from Stranger Things creators Matt and Ross Duffer. Directed by Weronika Tofilska, Netflix dropped the first official trailer exactly on Friday the 13th.
“The bride feels like something terrible is going to happen at her wedding — and the closer she gets to the altar, the worse it becomes,” says the official synopsis.
The story follows bride Rachel, played by Camila Morrone, who sets off five days before the wedding with groom Nicky to a secluded family home in a snowy forest. But Rachel can't shake off the eerie feeling that something bad is brewing.
