Apple has rolled out the fourth beta version of iOS 26.4 to developers. This latest update brings a bunch of new emojis, tweaks in apps, and some minor functional improvements.

Big changes for Siri were expected, but it looks like those will appear in a later version of the system.

Users can look forward to new emojis like a trombone, treasure chest, distorted face, Bigfoot, combat cloud, killer whale, or landslide. Some existing emojis also got new skin tone options, according to Macworld.

The latest update also touches on the Apple Podcasts app. Apple is adding support for HTTP Live Streaming. This means it'll be easier to switch between watching the video version of a podcast and listening to it.

A new widget has appeared on the home screen, giving you quick access to playlists with ambient music. Apple is currently testing more new features for the future.

One of these is end-to-end encryption for RCS messages to boost communication security. However, Apple warns that this feature won’t be part of version 26.4 just yet. It should be available in one of the upcoming updates. We'll see if it arrives soon.
