The Privacy Display is exclusive to the flagship Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. Unlike dark protective films that wear down over time, you can personalize the Privacy Display – turn it on/off for the entire phone, selected apps, or just notifications. No matter what content you're viewing or messages you're texting, everything stays hidden from prying eyes.

Right after Unpacked, I had the chance to test the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra on the streets of San Francisco. The new generation brought two video advancements you’ll appreciate. With improved night shots, you can forget about grainy and unclear images.
An added bonus is the improved stabilizer, which steadies the image on the horizontal axis, allowing for smooth shooting even while biking or running. The phone also lets you shoot directly to an external storage disk.
In photography, you’ll love the enhanced selfie capabilities with natural skin tones and better detail depiction even in poor lighting conditions.
Among the new features is a Creative Studio, where creation and editing happen right in the gallery. Editing your photos often takes just one prompt – like erasing tattoos (and sparing your grandma or in-law from a heart attack 😅).
At work or school, the Document Scan feature, which automatically fixes issues like crumpled pages or fingers in the shot, will definitely come in handy. You can merge multiple scans into a single PDF for easy digitalization of receipts or notes.
