On Sunday night, millions of viewers worldwide focused on Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, hosting Super Bowl LX.
In the NFL finals, the Seattle Seahawks faced off against the New England Patriots. The Patriots were aiming for their seventh victory, potentially making them the league's most successful team ever. However, they didn't make it. The culmination of the American football league was dominated by the Seattle Seahawks, who beat the Patriots 29-13, gaining their second Lombardi Trophy, reports ESPN.
“Love is Stronger than Hate”
The Super Bowl wouldn’t be complete without the halftime show, headlined this time by Bad Bunny. "If I'm here today, at Super Bowl 60, it's because I never stopped believing in myself. You should believe in yourselves too. You're more than you think," said the Puerto Rican rapper and singer in Spanish, his native language.
The stadium was also adorned with the message “only love is stronger than hate.”
Besides Bad Bunny, Ricky Martin and Lady Gaga also performed.
U.S. President Donald Trump, however, wasn’t too thrilled with the halftime show. Bad Bunny has previously spoken out against Trump and ICE agents, so unsurprisingly, the president was critical. “The Super Bowl halftime show was absolutely terrible, one of the worst ever,” he stated. “Nobody understands a word he says, and his dancing is awful,” he added.
