Johnny Depp donated $800,000 to a children's hospital in Los Angeles from the money he collected from the sale of his NFT project. This is reported by the Hindustan Times portal, which also adds that this is the same charity that Amber Heard promised to support from the money awarded in the divorce. The actor also supported several other organizations, the official account of the NFT project on Twitter informed about it.

In January 2022, Depp announced his own NFT collection Never Fear Truth, which includes portraits of family members, friends and personal heroes painted by the actor.

"My involvement in the NFT market is just beginning," the actor declared at the time he presented his collection. After the ruling in the court case with Amber Heard, not only the interest in the collection increased, but also the price of the individual pieces. Today, the value of digital art on the secondary market is again slightly lower, but the entire NFT market has experienced a larger decline due to the current situation in the global markets.

At the same time, the price of the Ethererum cryptocurrency, on which Johnny Depp sells his NFTs, also weakened significantly.

A seven-member jury ruled in Depp's favor in early June, finding that his ex-wife defamed him in a 2018 article in The Washington Post in which she suggested he had abused her. The court ordered her to pay $15 million in damages and compensation. A few days after the verdict, the actress declared that she is not angry at the jury and that she still loves her ex-husband.
