Since its founding, bondi has expanded to eight cities across the Netherlands.
Bondi, the pioneering Dutch e-bike sharing company, famous for launching the first large-scale e-bike sharing network in the Netherlands, has been acquired by Svišť, a leading European shared mobility operator based in Slovakia.
Since its founding, Bondi has expanded to eight cities across the Netherlands, serving over 100,000 riders and achieving an impressive app rating of 4.7 stars.
Bondi not only expanded shared e-bikes but also evolved into a vibrant platform for urban mobility and discovery – a “super app” integrating shared mobility (including services like Check, Felyx, and MyWheels), local events, and social features designed to connect friends and communities.
Operating in Central and Eastern Europe, Svišť sees Bondi's platform and technology as a strategic entry point into Western Europe, particularly the Dutch market.
Through this acquisition, Svišť plans to leverage Bondi's proven tech package and community-focused app ecosystem while expanding its network of shared electric mobility services throughout the Netherlands.
“Bondi has built something truly special – combining technology, mobility, and social interaction to encourage people to rediscover their cities,” said Max Schalow, co-founder of Bondi. “We're proud that Svišť will carry this mission forward on a Europe-wide level.”
“Our aim is to make urban travel seamless across borders,” added Marek Švorc, CEO of Svišť. “Bondi's technology and presence in the Dutch market perfectly complement our growth strategy and vision for connected, sustainable mobility.”
Both companies share a commitment to sustainable transportation and community-focused mobility, enabling users to explore cities in smarter, more social, and eco-friendly ways.
