Forbes has released its annual list of the highest-paid actors and actresses in Hollywood.
This year's results showed an interesting shift. The total earnings of the twenty highest-paid stars dropped by a fifth to $590 million, down from $730 million last year.
At the top of the list is Adam Sandler with earnings of $48 million. His long-term deal with Netflix ensures he rakes in the big bucks, regardless of his movies’ performance in numbers. The decreasing actor earnings are further highlighted by the fact that even Sandler's $48 million wasn't enough to match last year's leader, Dwayne Johnson, who made $88 million.
Also grabbing attention is the massive success of 22-year-old Millie Bobby Brown, known from the show Stranger Things. She became the youngest actress to ever appear on Forbes' highest-paid actors list, not just in the top ten.
