Christian Bale as a lonely monster longing for love and Jessie Buckley as a fierce woman who refuses to be a submissive wife.
Coming to theaters on March 5th is the highly anticipated movie "The Bride!" – a romantic psychological drama that loosely follows the story of Frankenstein with a twist. You're in for a mix of romance, dark drama, tension, and striking visual aesthetics, making it a truly powerful experience.
After reviving a young woman (Jessie Buckley), things don't go as originally planned. The Bride remembers nothing, and instead of becoming an obedient wife, she transforms into a wild and rebellious character. Along with Frank, she goes on the run through the gangster-filled Chicago of the ’30s.
The lead duo is played by Jessie Buckley as the Bride and Christian Bale as Frankenstein's monster. According to Buckley, there was strong chemistry between them off-camera as well. “Christian and I were a very intense pair, it was really exciting,” the actress said.
“Honestly, it was my most intense and exhausting shoot – and yet so much fun,” she added. The film, featuring a star-studded cast including Penélope Cruz, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Peter Sarsgaard, is distributed by Warner Bros. and is also coming to theaters in IMAX format.
