The collab between Brad Pitt and David Fincher is back with the movie The Adventures of Cliff Booth, a sequel to the hit film – Once Upon a Time in Hollywood by Quentin Tarantino.
Tarantino set himself a limit of directing a maximum of 10 films, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was his ninth. For his big finale, he decided not to direct the follow-up but wrote the script and handed it over to someone equally capable.
That someone is none other than David Fincher, who brings his strong artistic touch to the sequel. Unlike Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, this one moves away from Leonardo DiCaprio's character, Rick Dalton, and is described by Fincher as “an episode in the life of Cliff Booth,” played by Brad Pitt.

What might bum out some fans is the Netflix logo at the trailer's end. Netflix bought the film's script from Tarantino and teamed up with Fincher. But no worries – according to Variety, the film is set to hit selected theaters, kicking off Netflix's new era of movie releases.
Looks like they have a lot of faith in it too – the movie's budget has soared to a whopping $200 million. That's twice as much as Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and makes The Adventures of Cliff Booth the most expensive film for both Quentin Tarantino and David Fincher.
