Kendrick Lamar is coming back after five years with his new album Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers which will be released on Friday early in the morning. Fans can already see what they can look forward to in a new video.
The Heart Part 5 is getting a simple music video in which Kendrick Lamar is standing in front of a dark burgundy screen and his face is, thanks to deepfake technology, gradually changing into O.J. Simpson, Kanye West, Jussie Smollett, Will Smith, Kobe Bryant and Nipsey Hussle.
Kendrick has adapted social themes and the track The Heart Part 5 carries messages regarding missing empathy and interpersonal understanding, but also continuing racism and poverty.
Kendrick Lamar has last spoken with his project DAMN in 2017. He not only received a number of prestigious music awards, but also a Pulitzer price.
Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers will be the last album of Lamar's under the label Top Dawg Entertainment, where he grew up.
