Swedish Legend Basshunter Announces European Tour - Performing in Bratislava

MUSIC

Fans of dance music and nostalgic hits from the turn of the millennium have a huge reason to celebrate.

The well-known Swedish DJ, singer, and producer Basshunter, famous for his massive eurodance anthems like the legendary track dedicated to the video game DotA, is heading out on a big European tour. And yep, the Slovak capital is on his 2026 tour map.

Jonas Erik Altberg just dropped the official poster for the upcoming European tour on his socials. For local fans, the key date here is July 30, 2026, when the Swedish star is bringing his energetic show straight to Bratislava. He also hinted that the schedule isn’t set in stone and more concert dates might be added as we go.

Coming from Halmstad, Sweden, Basshunter has been a pioneer of the bass-heavy eurodance style for years. Fun fact from his early days: he didn’t start off behind the DJ booth but in a choir led by his mom.

His true global breakthrough came with the blend of pulsating dance music and the online gaming community. His iconic hit about playing the popular computer game DotA (Defense of the Ancients) shot to worldwide fame years ago and is still a favorite retro anthem in many music clubs today.
