As Mirror reports, eBay stats show that the number of people searching for old iPods has skyrocketed, with searches up over 20% last year. Specifically, people looking for the iPod Classic have increased by 25%, with the term "iPod" being searched worldwide more than 1,200 times an hour in 2025.
Among the most-searched models are the iPod Nano 3rd generation, iPod Nano 4th generation, and iPod Classic 6th generation.
According to eBay, iPod Classics across all generations are selling for top dollar. Prices vary from 100 to over 400 €—depending on packaging, device condition, color, and limited edition status. For instance, the Apple iPod Classic Coca-Cola is listed at 1,530 €.
The iPod Touch, released by Apple in 2007 alongside the first iPhone generation, ranges from 100 to 300 € as well.
