Slovak para-athlete Alexandra Rexová snagged a bronze medal in the downhill event for visually impaired athletes at the Winter Paralympic Games. Alongside her guide, Sophia Poláková, she landed in third place, as announced by the Slovak Paralympic Committee on social media.
Rexová was 4.90 seconds behind the winner, Veronika Aigner from Austria. Chiara Mazzel from Italy took second place with a 0.48-second gap behind the winner.
