The much-anticipated release of GTA 6 has inspired a unique marketing campaign in Norway.
The electronics chain Komplett has announced that they'll give a free copy of the game to any parent whose child is born exactly on its release day (November 19th). The timing isn't random. There are nine months left until the planned November launch, assuming the date doesn't get pushed back again, writes IGN.com.

Posters popped up on the streets of Oslo saying “GTA 6 releases in 9 months” with a photo of a messy bed and pink flower petals. The message is pretty clear.
Though it's a bold marketing move, the retailer claims it's no joke. If a child is indeed born on the release date, parents can come and get the game for free.
This campaign comes shortly after publisher Take-Two hinted that the November 19, 2026 date should be final. GTA 6 is one of the most anticipated titles in recent years, and after several delays, fans finally have a more definite date.
