VIDEO: The First Glimpse of the Yellowstone Sequel is Here. Who Replaced Kevin Costner?

MOVIES & SERIES

Yellowstone featuring Eminem? Welcome to the new era of the Dutton family as the first official trailer for the spin-off of the popular series drops. And it's lit.

The new series will be titled The Dutton Ranch, and it's the first official continuation of Yellowstone, directly involving the writer and creator of the original series, Taylor Sheridan.

This show's plot will focus on the characters Beth and Rip, portrayed by Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser. We'll move from the breathtaking Montana to the dangerous Texas, where, judging by the first teaser, things will heat up quickly as new and possibly old scores are settled among multiple parties.

Kevin Costner, who was absent from Yellowstone since the second half of the last season, will be replaced in the spin-off by equally stellar Ed Harris and Annette Bening. However, their exact roles remain a mystery. The trailer is gritty, packed with action, and stylishly backed by a cover of Eminem's Till I Collapse.

The premiere of The Dutton Ranch is scheduled for May 15, 2026, on Paramount+. In the Czech Republic, it's expected later on SkyShowtime. This platform also features another Yellowstone spin-off, which Sheridan wasn't involved in. The series Marshals continues the story of Kayce Dutton, though it's purely a procedural crime show that didn't receive a warm welcome from fans of the original. However, it's highly watched on CBS and Paramount+, and we can likely expect the same for The Dutton Ranch.
