The standout feature is the double lacing system that wraps around the entire top of the sneakers, creating a unique visual effect while ensuring a secure and stable fit. The ergonomic design is enhanced by a specifically shaped sole with a prominent grip that elegantly curves along the side.

The result is a dynamic, almost organic look that combines athletic functionality with an avant-garde approach to fashion.

Piccioli is also preparing an adapted version called Radar Ballerina, offering the same technological DNA with a softer and lower appearance.

The Balenciaga Radar model is currently available for pre-order through the online store and at select retailers. A wider market release with new color options is planned for the end of March, with the Radar Ballerina version expected to be one of the most talked-about pieces of the upcoming season.

This new release confirms that Balenciaga continues to maintain a strong position in the field of experimental luxury fashion, presenting a statement that combines technology, bold aesthetics, and a vision for the future. The model is priced at 790 euros.

Balenciaga is a luxury fashion house based in Paris, founded by Cristóbal Balenciaga in 1919. The designer from San Sebastián created models for the Spanish royal family and aristocracy until the civil war forced him to close his shops in the country. He then lived and worked in the French capital.

The fashion house is currently part of the Kering conglomerate with Pierpaolo Piccioli as the creative director, who replaced Demna Gvasalia in May 2025.
