Co-founder Of The Band Depeche Mode Andy Fletcher Has Died At The Age Of 60.

The founding member of the band Depeche Mode and pianist Andrew Fletcher has died at the age of 60. The band members have announced the sad news on Facebook.

„We are shocked and filled with overwhelming sadness with the untimely passing of our dear friend, family member, and bandmate Andy "Fletch" Fletcher,“ they wrote in the post.

„Fletch had a true heart of gold and was always there when you needed support, a lively conversation, a good laugh, or a cold pint Our hearts are with his family, and we ask that you keep them in your thoughts and respect their privacy in this difficult time.“

Depeche mode is a band founded in 1980 in Basildon, England. The band consisted of three musicians: Dave Gahan (singing and songwriting), Martin Gore (piano, guitar, singing and main songwriter) and Andy Fletcher (piano). Among their most popular songs are Enjoy The Silence, Just Can't Get Enough or Personal Jesus.
