The billionaire, Tesla CEO and new owner of Twitter was making fun of the American politician and member of the House of Representatives Alexandria Ocasi-.Cortez, claiming she was flirting with him via Twitter after she left a harsh note to "some billionaire with self-esteem issues," reports Unilad.
"I'm tired that we all have to stress about the explosion of hate speech that is going on because some billionaire with self-esteem issues is unilaterally controlling a massive communication platform and disturbing it because Tucker Carlson (American conservative TV anchorman and politics announcer) or Peter Thiel (American businessman and one of the main financial supporters of Donald Trump's political campaign) took him to dinner and made him feel special," wrote the congresswoman.
Although many, including Musk, believed this was written on his account, the congressman has not specified the billionaire in any way. "Stop hitting on me, I'm really shy," reacted the billionaire, using the blushing emoji. "I meant Zuckerberg but ok," replied Ocasi-Cortez who claims she meant the Facebook and Instagram owner.
Stop hitting on me, I’m really shy ☺️

Musk and one of the most popular faces of the progressive wing of the Democratic party congresswoman Ocasi-Cortez already had a conflict in the past when the billionaire share a meme which claimed that the "far left" has taken over the Democratic party.
Last week, Twitter's board of directors has accepted Musk's offer to buy Twitter for 44 billion USD. The CEO of Tesla and SpaceX wants to make the company private after complete takeover. He wants to implement greater freedom of speech on the platform, which creates skepticism because it could enable spreading of hoax on the platform.
After the announcement that Musk is buying Twitter, many users have left the platform, and many have lost followers, namely celebrities and politicians with a left wing orientation. On the other hand, many right wing oriented, such as the republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor-Green, Texas senator Ted Cruz and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson reported an increase in followers.
Musk said he wants to promote freedom of speech on the platform and make Twitter "politically neutral" which according to him means "agitating far right and far left equally."
