Johnny Depp and Amber Heard are in the middle of a million-dollar suit. Depp is suing his ex-wife for defamation of character. The star couple divorced in 2016 over Heard's allegations of domestic violence, which destroyed Depp's entire acting career and most of his paid collaborations. He is now trying to clear his name, and if he wins, Heard will have to pay him $ 50 million.

Court could take several weeks, both sides have already been heard in court. In order for the actor to win, he will have to prove that Amber Heard falsely accused him, for example, of causing her black eyes, breaking her nose and tearing her lip. Depp's lawyers use phone recordings and witness testimonies to make his case.

Heard was recently caught lying under oath about the cosmetics company Milani Cosmetics.

Lies about black eyes

Heard stated in court, that she was always carrying the All In One Correcting Kit - a compact set of colour correctors by Milani. According to her, she allegedly used them to cover the bruises. "She got used to it very quickly," her lawyer told the court with a palette of correctors in her hand. "You'll hear Amber testify, that she had to mix different colours on different days as the bruises developed."

However, according to court documents, the violence between Heard and Depp took place in the years 2012 to 2016, while the mentioned set of correctors did not appear on the market until 2017. The company itself pointed this out.

Milani Cosmetics published a short video in TikTok, which first shows Amber Heard and then several product catalogues proving that they launched the product in 2017. This is not the first time someone has caught Heard lying in court.
