The head of the Catholic church spoke to all "frustrated but too caring" mothers.
Pope Francis gave all "frustrated but too caring" mothers with adult sons a few "parenting advice". At a mass in Vatican, he stated that they should stop ironing their adult sons' shirts and encourage them to get married, says the portal Independent.
He also spoke to adult men who "do not want to leave the nest" to not take the easy way out and come back to their mothers during hard times.
„Mothers often tell me – ,do something, talk to my son. He is 37 and does not want to get married," said the head of the Catholic church during the mass. "Lady, make the first step, do not iron his shirts and send him out into the world so he leaves the nest."
The pope added that family love is not acquisitive and always aims for freedom. "Let's not allow families to be poisoned with the toxins of selfishness, individualism and current culture of carelessness."
The portal Independent reminds that pope Francis is directly opposed to abortion and in the past, he has compared this medical procedure to "hiring a hitman to solve a problem.
Recently, many have been speaking about his health. Francis suffers from sciatica in his right leg and right knee inflammation, die to which he has canceled his plans on multiple occasions in the past few weeks.
