Amber Heard testified in court with Johnny Depp that she lost some acting opportunities because of him and had to fight for her career's survival. She also claimed that the Hollywood studio Warner Bros significantly reduced her role in the comics movie Aquaman 2, so she will appear in it much less than originally planned.
There are a number of online speculations that Heard only appears in the second part for 10. minutes. Heard stated in court that she has huge problems finding a job and the last time she acted was in a small independent film, for which she made 65 thousand dollars. She made 1 million dollars for Aquaman 1.
The producer of Aquaman 2 said last year that they will not succumb to pressure of fans and remove Amber Heard. Nonetheless, it is clear what was going on behind the scenes, since Heard was close to being kicked off the movie. The petition for removal of Amber Heard from the comics movie Aquaman 2, where she plays the character Mera, now has over 4 million signatures.
