This month is  incredibly packed in terms of streaming
services. Without further ado, let's get into it.

Apple TV+

Finch – November 5th

Don't ever travel with Tom Hanks. People have already learned their lesson and in the latest film Finch, nobody joins him. So he takes a robot and a dog in the car. They will be his friends in pursuit of saving themselves from an approaching catastrophe. Something is destroying the planet Earth. Not many people live here anymore. This will be a blockbuster post-apocalyptic film with a lot of action. We are mainly looking forward to the dialogues between the character played by Tom Hanks and the robot.

The film was directed by Miguel Sapochnik (Game of Thrones, Repo Men) and written by the talented newcomer Craig Luck in collaboration with Ivor Powell (produced by Blade Runner and Alien).

The Dickinson series will end on Apple TV+ in November after its 3rd season. In addition, the first seasons of the great sci-fi series Foundation and Invasion keep going. What's expected is the new series The Shrink Next Door with Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd.

Paramount+

Mayor of Kingstown – November 14th

The streaming platform is represented by the Paramount studio and its catalog. As a part of production of exclusive content, we can look forward to the crime series Mayor of Kingstown, which looks very interesting. The main characters involved in the world of crime are portrayed by Jeremy Renner and Kyle Chandler. The series will include action scenes, detective elements, killing and it will take place in a rough police-criminal atmosphere.

On top of some great trailers and great cast, we're also intrigued by the team of creators. The series was created by Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone, Hell or High Water) and Hugh Dillon (Durham County, Flashpoint).

Disney+

Home Alone – November 12th

The sequel to the first two Home Alone films will focus on another little boy abandoned in the family home, having to protect himself from thieves. Macaulay Culkin was replaced by Archie Yates (Jojo Rabbit).

You can see Cop McAllister in the trailer. This is Buzz, played by the same actor - Devin Ratray. You can decide for yourself whether the film has a chance, based on the trailer. The Beatles documentary by Peter Jackson premieres on the same day.

Hawkeye – November 24th

A more authentic Christmas atmosphere is probably evoked by the 6-part Hawkeye miniseries from Marvel Studios. The popular Avenger finally receives more space. This time he'll take the hopeful archer Kate Bishop (Hailee Steinfeld) under his wing, who will probably replace him in the Avengers team permanently. Together, they embark on an unfair fight against the great superiority of the enemy. Hawkeye will also have hearing problems and it is rumored that Vincent D’Onofrio might also appear as Kingpin.

The deaf heroine Echo will also play an important role. Portrayed by Alaqua Cox, who is also deaf in real life. In addition to these actors, the cast also includes Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d'Arcy James. Florence Pugh will probably land a smaller role than Yelena Belova from the solo Black Widow.

Hulu

Hit-Monkey – November 17th

The animated series tells the story of how the monkey formed a bond with the assassin Bryce (Jason Sudeikis lent him his voice). After death, it is able to communicate with its spirit, that becomes the monkey's mentor in murder.

The monkey will soon awaken a talent for killing, and what follows is revealed to you in the trailer. Creativity, originality and crazy ideas from the trailer are overwhelming, so we hope that the charm will not disappear after a few episodes. In addition to the crazy animated action comic book, you can also look forward to the 2nd season of the great historical series The Great on Hulu.

Amazon Prime

The Wheel of Time – November 19th

Even before the arrival of The Lord of the Rings series, Amazon will present another great fantasy saga based on popular books. The series will focus on Moiraine (Rosamunde Pike), a member of a strong women's organization Aes Sedai. Moiraine believes that one in five young people from the small town is a reincarnation of a famous dragon.

She takes them on a journey around the world in the hope that good will awaken in them and that one of them will save the world instead of destroying it. The production of the series cost Amazon a lot of money, and the streaming company definitely wants it to be a hit.

Netflix

The absolute biggest highlight of all - Netflix. The streaming giant will present 114 new films and series this November, most of which are their own productions or purchased projects. These are the 10 most exciting ones.

The Harder They Fall – November 3rd

The cast of the western action movie is African American actors for the most part. The film received very positive reviews, which is a sign that it may be a successful one, combined with entertaining trailer full of attractive scenes, .

The plot zooms in on a cowboy named Nat Love (Jonathan Majors), who puts together the old crew to face his old enemy (Idris Elba). However, he has his own gang of criminals, portrayed by actors such as Lakeith Stanfield and Regina King. Delroy Lindo and Zazie Beetz will also play in the film.

Big Mouth – November 5th

The beloved animated series about teenagers who see their emotions, instincts and hormones come to life in the form of large hormonal monsters, is an excellent educational project on puberty, the psyche of minors and even sexual matters.

This series is hilarious and boasts a number of original characters. They are extremely diverse, so you enjoy watching each one of their stories. What hormones and emotions will the new season focus on is revealed in the trailer below.

Narcos: Mexico November 3rd-5th

The final series of the Mexican series Narcos will focus on the country after the arrest of a drug addict named Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo (Diego Luna). After his removal, there was an emergence of new opportunities for other criminals in the country, which also affects politics. One of the 10 episodes of the 3rd season will also be directed by Wagner Moura, a representative of Pablo Escobar, who scored a cameo in the 1st season of Narcos: Mexico. The last episodes will also include the hunt for the famous El Chapo.

Arcane – November 6th

The game world League of Legends will be extended by an anime series. Many of us were quite surprised when the great trailer came out. The plot focuses on the sisters Vi and Jin, each of whom choose to be on the opposite side of the law. If you look at the trailer, in some places you may even feel a sort of Blade Runner-esque atmosphere, which can't be a bad thing. Of course, there are also other well-known characters from the games and nevertheless an excellent action component with a number of solid scenes. We also dig the quality and style of the animation itself.

Red Notice – November 12th

So far, the most expensive film from Netflix production (next year this will most likely be said about the action thriller The Gray Man) looks quite promising. Action blockbuster delight. Expect crazy action, nonsensical scenes, Dwayne Johnson with the power of Superman and indestructible main characters. Anyway, just an action-packed treat for adults and children with a solid cast.

At the center is an FBI profier (Dwayne Johnson), a large, world-famous art thief (Ryan Reynolds) who team up to catch the most wanted art thief (Gal Gadot). The trio goes on an adventurous journey around the world together.

Tiger King – November 17th

The first series of documentaries on bizarre tiger breeders in the US has been a worldwide success. The creators did not hesitate and put together new episodes with Joe Exotic in them. He's been in prison for several years already, so the filmmakers made a call. We don't know what the 2nd season will cover, but we are afraid that it won't be as epic as the first.

Cowboy Bebop – November 19th

23 years later, the legendary anime will get a proper series feature. The plot focuses on four people, three of whom are adult bounty hunters and criminals, and the fourth is a girl named Ed, whose sexuality is not 100 percent clear. All four of them roam the universe, chasing criminals and living day by day. The anime only got one 26-part series, in which the story closes quite well.

Sometimes we learn interesting facts about the characters and their past, some episodes deal with adjacent storylines, and sometimes the emotional and psychological point of view comes to surface. Cowboy Bebop is a fascinating anime and you can watch it all on Netflix before the feature version starts streaming.

That, by the way, is not a remake of an anime. Rather, it is an extension of the story. The main role of Spike was played by John Cho, and from the materials so far, the Netflix series looks surprisingly good.

Tick, Tick… Boom! – November 19th

We love musicals here at Refresher. And this one in particular looks very promising. The director is Lin-Manuel Miranda, and the film will be his directorial debut, although he has already composed several musicals, including the brilliant Hamilton. The main character is the aspiring composer Jon (Andrew Garfield) living in New York, overwhelmed by love, relationships, work problems, money and the like. Garfield was matched with Vanessa Hudgens and Alexandra Shipp.

Bruise – November 24th

Halle Berry plays an older MMA wrestler. The actress is 55 years old, but it seems that her character Jackie is much younger. She has received many strokes in life, in and out of the ring, but now she has the opportunity to return to the Octagon. Her career ended the moment she became pregnant. Jackie may not have what it takes to fight in MMA anymore and she'll find out in a painful way..

Bonus: Hellbound – November 19th

The sci-fi action drama hasn't yet published a proper trailer, but something tells us that it has great potential and can become another great South Korean series that will become a big hit on Netflix. The story is about monsters that kill people. They are expecting them, since the angels have told them the time of their death.

In November, we will also see a new season of Explained documentary on Netflix. This will be the second season focusing on the mind. The drama Passing about two African-American women, one of whom decides to pretend to be a white woman, is also quite interesting. The last series is F is For Family from the successful comedian Bill Burr, and while we're talking animated productions, you can also look forward to the anime of the great comic book Super Crooks by Mark Miller.
