Considering the approaching Christmas, we decided to bring a selection of the best games that you can buy on Steam, PSN, the Nintendo eshop or the Xbox Marketplace for under 10 euros. Get inspired.

All the games that run on Xbox One and PS4 also work with the current
generations of Xbox Series X/S and PS5 consoles.

1. Hotline Miami – 10 euro (PC, Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo)

This action piece with the 'from above' perspective will hook you immediately and won't let you go until you finish the whole thing. However, it might take you longer to pass all obstacles, since some enemies can kill you in one hit. It's up to your skills, speed and reflexes to defeat them before they manage to do that to you. You can stun them by slamming the door, but you also might just have to finish them off.

You will have a choice of many weapons and masks that give you special abilities. The game also has a story, but if you get lost in it, not much will happen. Adrenaline action will keep you in suspense until the very end. The sequel is also great.

2. FTL – 10 euro (PC, iOS)

If you played Into the Breach, you probably fell in love with this tactical robo-action. Its creators had previously released the title FTL. In it, you control a spaceship and its crew, which runs between several rooms with weapons, system computers and other defense resources.

Every time you die, you start over and with different game conditions (this is a roguelike genre). Battles are in real time, but you can pause them and tactically think about your next steps. FTL is a very addictive game.

3. Portal 2 – 9,75 euro (PC, Xbox 360, PS3)

After playing Portal 2, we had the impression that the first installation was actually a demo. The sequel has a story, decent plot twists and even more elaborate puzzles and room design that you have to get out of using your special weapon.

You can create portal entrances and exits in the walls of rooms, so you can get almost anywhere. It's a logic game, but you'll also enjoy adrenaline moments and especially a lot of humor, which is rarely seen in games.

4. Undertale – 10 euro (PC, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo)

Undertale is an iconic indie game. The 2D storybook was created by the developer Toby Fox, who also composed game's great music. He worked on it for almost 3 years and created an unforgettable story about a boy who fell into magical lands below the surface of the earth. It's up to you whether you fight the monsters there or make friends with them.

Battles take place in the form of unique dialogues. Undertale has a fun gameplay model that will keep your attention - the story together with the well-written characters will make you want to finish the game.

5. A Short Hike – 8 euro (PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch)

Short Hike is a short game that you can complete in 2-3 hours. You play as a small bird whose task is to climb to the top of a big mountain. During this time, you will make friends with other animals, discover the secrets of the mountain and compete in various disciplines. If you are in the mood for something relaxing, undemanding and short, A Short Hike will please you.

6. Vampire Survivors – 5 euro (PC, Xbox One)

When it was released, you could buy this game for 2.50 euros, but it's worth it even the current 5. It will keep you entertained for hours. The goal of the game is to survive as long as possible surrounded by vampires and other monsters. You will have different weapons and abilities at your disposal every time, while you will also get completely new ones while playing. It's one of those games that you won't be able to put down.

7. Steamworld Dig – 9 euro (Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PC)

The very first game in the Steamworld series introduced us to the world of robots that live in the Wild West. The game wants you to descend to the lowest levels underground and gradually dig your way to the greatest secrets of its world. Battles are part of the gameplay, but first of all you will destroy everything that lies below you and create tunnels. Gameplay is enlivened by regular upgrades for your character.

8. Limbo – 9 euro (PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, Nintendo Switch)

Limbo offers a story told through random events and visual cues. In the game, you try to get out of the "afterlife", in which you avoid various monsters, traps and find out what actually happened to you.

The beautiful visual style and fun puzzle-solving gameplay is the foundation of one of the most acclaimed indie games of the entire generation. The creators from the Playdead studio subsequently surpassed themselves with an even better title called Inside, which we also recommend.

9. Dishonoured – 10 euro (PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

An original sci-fi set in a steampunk-wizard world in which you control Corvo, the empress's guardian. When someone kills her, he is blamed for the crime and he vows to take revenge and find those who plotted against him.

He uses his intellect, supernatural abilities and murderous skills with a sword to do this. Dishonoured will charm you with its unique-looking world and movement through it, as well as a wide range of options that you can use to progress in the story and missions.

10. Sayonara Wild Hearts – 11 euro (iOS, PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch)

We're cheating a bit here, but maybe you'll sacrifice the extra 1 euro. You will get a high-quality adrenaline experience, which is based on action gameplay that requires quick reflexes. You move to the rhythm and in several directions, you avoid obstacles and all this against the background of quality pop music.

Bonus: Superhot – 25 euro

The best thing to do is to buy a package with both the original game and its version for virtual reality. In Superhot, you control a character who faces off against hordes of enemies with better weapons. Your task is to kill everyone and advance to the next level.

What is the catch? Enemies, their weapons and ammo only move when you move. If you're in a tight spot, just don't move and plan your next attack. The version for virtual reality is perfect, as you can use your swords to split the fired bullets and dodge them like in the Matrix. The game is a bonus, because for the price of 20-25 euros you get exactly two (VR version and classic version offer different levels and gameplay).
