Summer's Most Powerful Fashion Statements from Nike Air Force 1 with Louis Vuitton Monogram to Kanye's Outfits

For most of us, summer season manifests in a relaxed routine as we gather strength for the upcoming months. Fashion industry works differently and delivers new pieces and various events for the public even during the holiday season. This time around it was no different.

In recent weeks, we have seen dozens of new sneakers, fashion shows with ready-to-wear pieces, haute couture collections and much more. Kanye West attracted lots of attention appearing in a bulletproof vest and a mask on his face during a listening session to his latest album at the International Film Festival Karlovy Vary, which also brought a plethora of great outfits.

Travis Scott co-designing the new Dior Men's collection

Kim Jones brought the French fashion icon back to the top, thanks to the fact that he considers the current generation in creation of the individual collections. The creative director of the Dior brand has a number of friends among familiar faces and he's definitely built on that in the Men's collection for the spring / summer season 2022 .

The British designer offered collaboration to Travis Scott and the rapper went ahead and accepted it. Both sides hit it off right from the bat and the result of their work is 52 complete silhouettes.

The whole Cactus Jack Dior collection is divided into several color blocks, among which we highlight especially the pink-purple, cream and neon-green models on sophisticated fits. The design line also includes an iconic monogram CD in both diagonal and vertical layouts, which is basically flying off the shelves. Below you'll find a recording of the show from June 25th.

Return of Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner to the catwalk

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, fashion shows took place almost exclusively in the online space during the past year, and it remained that way until Paris Fashion Week in July. The designer Simon Porte Jacquemus, whose brand of the same name breaks all the usual stereotypes, presented his latest work in the French capital as well.

The La Montagne collection for autumn / winter 2021 fulfilled demands of confident women and men alike. During the 10-minute show in a film studio, we saw Jacquemus' vision of easy-to-wear clothing, inspired by underwear pieces or ski suits.

The brightest moment of the show was the presence of stellar models such as Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid. Both of them returned to the catwalk after a long time and obviously enjoyed their participation in the fashion week to the fullest. They showed up in perfect shape and Jacquemus pieces will definitely find popularity thanks to their sex appeal.

Let's not forget the recent campaign for this collection with a completely naked Kendall Jenner hanging on a rope.

Kanye West Donda album

Few people can provoke such a stir and hype around themselves as Kanye West. Recently, the controversial performer with bipolar disorder succeeded several times thanks to the release of the new album Donda, which he dedicated to his deceased mother. The whole process was accompanied by several listening sessions, during which Yeezy sported a number of bizarre and intriguing outfits.

The forty-four-year-old superstar has had a turbulent period associated not only with the  album release, but also with the divorce, and these events also reflected in his outfits. Kanye first appeared on stage in a black combo with a face mask, dominated by a spiked jacket from the Balenciaga fashion house and a bulletproof vest. A few days later, he chose a red look in the form of a jacket from his own collection for the GAP brand, a mask and gold jewelry.

At the end of the video for the song Come to Life, you can see Kanye West again in all black next to Kim Kardashian in a white dress with a veil. 

Louis Vuitton monogrammed Nike Air Force 1 

Virgil Abloh has a reputation, and looking at the Men's 2022 spring / summer collection, we can't really tell whether the design belongs to the Off-White™ brand or to the LV French fashion house with a rich history. The American designer once again relied on the intertwining of luxury fashion with the roughness of the street, and the final result was surprising to many.

Nike Air Force 1 sneakers, which we saw in 21 different color combinations on the Paris catwalk, received the most attention during the show. This is a dream come true for all resellers, and we can already say with certainty that these will be the most sought-after models from the collection.

Virgil Abloh not only gave the individual variants the iconic LV monogram, but also inscriptions that we know so well from Off-White™ sneakers. Their official price and availability are yet to be announced, but we assume that this will be a limited offer.
