What does it look like when a pair of models find themselves on a luxury liner with rich people and their vessel unexpectedly wrecks? That's the question answered by the dramedy Triangle of Sadness, which garnered a standing ovation and won the Palme d'Or at the famed Cannes Film Festival, Collider reports.

According to the entertaining first trailer, viewers will be able to meet a wide range of characters on the ship. From an excrement-selling Russian oligarch to a peculiar crew with an alcoholic captain to a cleaning lady who, despite her inferior qualifications, will be very useful after the shipwreck - as she is the only one who can catch fish.

The 48-year-old Swedish filmmaker, who directed the 2017 dramedy The Square, was in charge of the film's direction and screenplay. The latter, like his new film, won the Palme d'Or and was nominated for an Oscar.

The film starred actors such as Harris Dickinson, Charlbi Dean Kriek, Zlatko Buric and Woody Harrelson, who portrayed the aforementioned captain with a penchant for alcoholic beverages. The Slovak premiere is scheduled for 29 September 2022.
