The HBO Max streaming service will offer another series in the style of Euphoria. The Idol was directed by Euphoria's creator Sam Levinson, with rapper The Weeknd producing and starring in a small role. The main role in the series will be played by Lily-Rose Depp, the 23-year-old daughter of Johnny Depp, for whom it will be the most significant acting role to date.
The series looks like an Euphoria-esque series dealing with a behind-the-scenes look into the workings of Hollywood and show business. Part of the plot is supposed to be a kind of dangerous cult (it is possible that its leader will be played by the rapper Weeknd).
The creators of the series had to remake the series and reshot several episodes. We don't know exactly what went into its creation, but it obviously wasn't as high quality as they wanted. HBO has scheduled a premiere sometime this year.
Below you can see the first shots with lots of hot scenes. The Idol is definitely not for children.
