After the trial with Johnny Depp, information that the studio has cut out all the Amber Heard scenes from Aquaman 2 is circulating the Internet. However, the actress's spokesman vehemently denied this and called the information for Entertainment Weekly "inaccurate, insensitive and slightly crazy."

This hoax probably began to spread because some studios broke off cooperation with Depp, after the first lawsuit against him. Expecting the same to happen for Heard perhaps seemed like a natural conclusion. When Depp cleared his name after his last victory in court, Depp's supporters apparently believed that Warner Bros. Pictures would behave similarly towards Amber Heard.

Although the actress' spokesman denied the rumor, the studio has not yet commented on this for Entertainment Weekly. More than 4.5 million people have so far signed a petition calling for the removal of Amber Heard from the film.

At the same time, the actress stated during the trial that she lost several offers due to disputes with her ex-husband and had to fight for her career. According to her, Warner Bros. Pictures significantly changed the extent to which she appears in the story of the second Aquaman. There is speculation that she should only appear in the film for 10 minutes.

She also complained that she had only starred in one independent film because of the ongoing trial, for which she received $ 65,000. By comparison, for the character of Mera from the first Aquaman, she collected million dollars.
