American Gigolo is a forthcoming miniseries by Showtime television which is also a remake of an 80s movie. The main character was played by Richard Gere who was now replaced by Jon Bernthal. He will play gigolo Julian Kaye. His job description is to pleasure women. He still thinks about his dark past marked by his time in prison.
He was sentenced for a murder he claims he did not commit. The series will focus on his past but also his present. The audience can look forward to many dirty scenes. The series will have an R rating, therefore children should not see it due to sexual and bloody scenes.
The Showtime network has not yet announced the premiere date, but it will be sometime this year.
