The new campaign of the amusement park Leofoo Village in Taiwan promises bargain tickets and other advantages for visitors who come dressed in school uniforms with a miniskirt. The campaign has brought a wave of critical reactions. The critics complain that the decision is objectifying women, informs the portal Insider.
Every visitor whose skirt will end 10 cm above the knees will receive, apart from bargain ticket prices, a free photoshoot. According to Taiwanese press agency Central News Agency, it is a major price reduction from 999 Taiwanese dollars (34 $) to 500 Taiwanese dollars (17 $).
„There is something obscene about this,“ wrote one of the critics on an internet forum. Wu Tzu-ying, the executive secretary of the non-profit organization Modern Women's Foundation believes that visitors may fear for their privacy due to this campaign, since people may see under their skirts in photos.
