Steven Tyler of the famous band Aerosmith has turned to drugs again. Because of that, the band is canceling the upcoming concerts at least until the end of summer. „We are devastated that we have disappointed so many people, especially our most loyal fans who often travel very far to see our concerts,“ wrote the band on social media.

Concerts probably in September

„As many of you know, our beloved brother Steven has worked on his sobriety for many years," started the band their post on social media. They later stated that Tyler has relapsed after he tried to manage his pain after a foot operation. "He has voluntarily entered a treatment program to concentrate on his health and recovery," added the band, who apart from Tyler, is formed by Tom Hamilton, Joey Kramer, Joe Perry and Brad Whitford.

The band has canceled all concerts until the end of August and they hope that September dates will remain unchanged. Aerosmith should be performing in Vegas at that time. "We'll let you know any further updates as soon as we can. Thank you for your understanding and for your support for Steven during this time," they added.

The singer Steven Tyler Has been fighting his addictions on and off for decades. He himself estimated that he spent approximately 6 million dollars on drugs during his life. He has now relapsed after 13 years of abstinence. He was last in rehab in 2009.
