According to her, the husband's reaction was exaggerated. She doesn't seem to be angry with him, but she wishes t would never have come to that. Jada didn't feel like she needed to be defended during the moment when Chris Rock made her fun of her.

"It was Smith who overreacted, and they both know it. Jada is not one of those women who needs protection. She is a strong woman and can fight alone in her ‘battles’,” said a close source.
