  • cervical spine pain,
  • back pain between the shoulder blades,
  • lumbar spine pain,

How to distinguish acute back pain from chronic back pain

In addition to the areas where it occurs, back pain is also divided according to how long it lasts. If the duration exceeds 3 months, it is no longer an acute but a chronic pain. In this case, it is necessary to take immediate action.

Do not underestimate the importance of sleep

One of the reasons why people suffer from back pain is that they underestimate the importance and impact of a quality mattress. What you sleep on has a huge impact on the quality of your life. Investing in a memory foam mattress, health mattress or any other that meets certain standards and offers you comfort while you sleep is well worth it. You better believe, that thanks to an excellent mattress you will enjoy a healthy and abundant sleep every night.

Stretch during the day

The second most common reason why people suffer from back pain is sitting all day at work and having poor posture. In addition to investing in a proper mattress, invest in exercise as well. All you need is quality shoes which are comfortable for walking and take at least 8,000 steps every day. If you spend all day sitting at your desk, don't forget to take a break and stretch every hour.

Move regularly

In addition to stretching during work hours and walking regularly every day, add exercise to your schedule. Discuss suitable exercises for back pain with a physiotherapist and practice them according to his recommendations.

Include suitable food supplements in your diet

You can also include food supplements for muscles and bones in your diet and add suitable food supplements during exercise. To support the health of your bones, reach for calcium, phosphorus and vitamin D. If you want your back muscles to regenerate faster after exercise and strengthen them, rely on protein drinks, creatine and l-glutamine, which will also help reduce muscle pain. However, do not forget to consult your doctor.

If nothing works, reach for painkillers

In acute cases, when exercise and dietary supplements do not work, back pain medication will bring you the desired relief (make sure you consult a doctor). If you prefer natural products, natural ointments, gels and sprays can provide relief. Plasters with a warming effect, which you stick to the sore spot and leave them to work, are also a popular helper.
