President Putin's Daughter Is Dating Zelenysky. The Man Is A Namesake Of The Ukrainian President

The daughter of Russian President Vladimir Putin, Katerina Tikhonova, has a relationship with the namesake of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. According to media reports, her partner is Igor Zelensky, a ballet dancer and former director of the Bavarian State Ballet.  Daily Mail, which refers to information from the German weekly Der Spiegel, informs about this happenstance.

Fifty-two-year-old Igor Zelensky is considered one of the most successful Russian ballet dancers. In 2016, he became director of the Bavarian State Ballet, but resigned after the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The Daily Mail writes that this probably happened after he refused to condemn the Russian invasion.

Tikhonova allegedly has a two-year-old daughter with him. According to the Daily Mail, she used to travel frequently to Munich in the past. However, after the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, sanctions against Russia which also included the cancellation of air links between Russia and the West made this impossible.

Tikhonova was previously married to Russian billionaire Kirill Shamalov. She is the younger of the two daughters that Putin has with his ex-wife Lyudmila Ocheretnaya.
