Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree regarding retaliatory economic sanctions in reaction to enemy acts of some foreign states and international organizations. The Reuters agency concluded this based on Kremlin statements released on Tuesday. Putin gave an order to the government to prepare a list of persons and subjects to whom said sanctions will apply, in 10 days.

Russia will ban export of products and raw materials to subjects and persons whom they have not yet specified. The decree simultaneously prohibits transactions with foreign individuals and companies, to whom Russian retaliatory sanctions apply and who enable Russian adversaries to not fulfill their obligations to Russia.

According to the decree, Russian government has 10 days to prepare the list of foreign individuals and companies who are to be sanctioned. Moscow will also define additional criteria for the amount of transactions which are to be subject to limitations.
