Novak Djokovic Won His 7th Wimbledon Title. He Now Has 21 Grandlslam Titles In Total.

The Serbian tennis player and the returning winner Novak Djokovic has 7 Wimbledon titles and 21 grandslam wins in total. It was a premiere in the grandslam finale for his competitor, the Australian player Kyrgios. 

Kyrgios drew attention to himself at Wimbledon not only with his sporting skills as he fought his way to get among the four best players for the first time in his career, but also with his unsportsmanlike behavior. The Australian has shown even slightly aggressive behavior and obviously could not control his emotions. He got into the final after Nadal's forfeit due to injury.

After an unfortunate first set, Nadal got it together and did not let the Australian get any chances in the next three sets. The only close one was the final point of the third set wich the Serbian got in a tiebreak. 

The only one with more grandslam titles than Djokovic is Rafael Nadal (22). When it comes to Wimbledon, Federer is ruling the charts with 8 titles. 

The question remains, how his participation will be affected in New York and next year in Australia, from where he was deported last year due to vaccination against Covid-19.
