Actress Blake Lively In The Director's Chair. Her Debut Is Called Seconds, It will Be Produced By Edgar Wright

You will definitely remember the 34-year-old American actress Blake Lively from the series Gossip Girl or the films The Shallows, The Age of Adaline, A Simple Favor or Green Latern, in which she played alongside her current husband Ryan Reynolds. As Collider writes, Lively will soon sit in the director's chair.

Her directorial debut will be the film Seconds and she will collaborate on it with the filmmaker Edgar Wright, who also adapted the screenplay for the film based on a comic book by Bryan Lee O'Malley. You may remember Wright as the director of Baby Driver and The Last Night in Soho.

Another prominent name on the team will be producer Marc Platt, a three-time Oscar nominee for La La Land, Bridge of Spies and The Trial of the Chicago 7. The first feature film of Blake Lively, will be produced under the Searchlight Pictures studio.

The actress has tried directing in the past. However, it was a smaller format. It was a music video for Taylor Swift I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor's Version) in 2021, and she even received two ACM nominations for his work.
